I have a SUP brand JP Australiamodel CABi (10"2' x 32"). I want to buy a sail rig. What size do you advice me to use for a lake with 10-15 nots? At a similar size, how does it compare the Chenook with the Severne Synergy?

Will this be your first experience windsurfing? How much do you weigh?

You can find few SUP specific complete rigs here :

More options:

I'm assuming that your SUP has a mastfoot attachment hole. Can you post a picture of it , or a link to its product page ?!

10'2"

sail size ...is dependent on many factors

5.5 to 7.0, my guess

If you have never windsurfed before you should start with a small sail, perhaps 4.5 meters squared. You will also need some help setting it up and using it for the first time, because making a windsurf go where you want it to go is very difficult when you don't know what you're doing. I would recommend getting a lesson, or at least watching some detailed beginner instructional videos.

I would stay with a 4.5 for another reason: with the single plug mast insert you are less likely to pull the mast insert out.
