Parking is in the fenced in area now by the fish market and very limited. I don't believe they charge but you gotta hike you gear in now to set it up. The free area by the street was stopped by the town with no parking signs because people were parking for free and hiking up the road into Hampton. Go Early

Theres a good group that goes but its so big they spread out. Now with the weird parking I'm not sure, but you fight regular people trying to get free parking not just the windsurfers. The wind is in a 10.0 sail for me or 5.5 kinda conditions. I'm a big guy 230lb but it blows one way or another usually. If theres an astronomical high tide be careful sailing on the turnaround because the exiting tide leaves there like a river. Your ok if the wind stays up but if it gets light and fluky head in, many people have gotten sucked toward the bridge, not fun.
