You sound like the Mercedes AMG F1 team yesterday morning before the race in Canada.

I can't make it to the festival so the three trophies I was going to take home are up for grabs who wants them?

Most of the raffle prizes For the ECWF LI have also arrived. In addition to the prizes in the pic will be some amazing fins from Makani that are still in route from their home in Canada, and an Iwindsurf subscription!! Thanks Iwindsurf!!

The wakeboard boat in the background doesn't just work well to hold up raffle prizes. It's also our safety boat AND will be used for some tow-in with myself and Jon (Chachi). Should be interesting for the spectators since neither one of us have practiced tow-in. And with a nice wake, we'll either hit really big moves, or really, really big crashes. Might be worth showing up just for that!!

2 more days!!!!!!!!! Looks like perfect weather both Sat. and Sunday. 80 degrees and Sunny is the forecast. There is also a little bit hope of planing conditions both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. If the sun can come out enough on Sat, there's a chance for some thermal afternoon goodness if it couples with that westerly breeze, then on Sunday the wind looks to bank around from the east at some point. If it does early enough, anything is possible with an easterly at Heckscher. Wasn't supposed to be much wind at all yesterday, but wind was from the east. I ended up sailling 4.0 at Heckscher till my arms fell off......

See you at the beach,

Mike

I need a few training sessions with Gonzalo and Myles before I have a chance to catch Pete racing. In freestyle, I just have to learn from Nina Smile. Although I'd really love to learn a few things from Pierre, too.

Report and a few pictures on my blog. More pictures on Facebook. A movie of the women's freestyle heat from Dani's drone to come.

Congratulations to Mike on pulling off another great event. You are inspiring a whole new class of freestylers, racers, SUP'ers and just plain old windsurfers.
