Nice relaxed day, out with Carbon Art 58 + HSM GPS 6.0 . Most everybody else on 5.0 or below doing the freestyle thing or trying new tricks ... me back into slalom enjoying the easy speed runs and cleaning up my lay down jibes that are a bit rusty. Good crowd: usual flock of 15-20 sailors.

Isabel suckered us out. Some slogged home, some swam. I swam. Of course it came back up as soon as I got in.

Launched at lordships slogged/plained upwind crossed the pier and had really good session in the circle. Got out of berekley and into the circle before the wind died, then had a brutal downwind slog to get back. Would have thought Isabel was working

After giving her best (for four days plus), the lady (Isabel) needed a rest! Today is another day - Berkeley or Isabel? I say follow the kiters.

Second day this week of low 20's. 5.3/90L with only a few out... sometimes all by myself enjoying smooth conditions, nice ramps, with no one around. No boats, no fisherman, no swimmers, no beach loungers, nobody. Unusual for June.

And I'm guessing that it's going to continue to be good for the next several days. I'd be there if I was still a south county resident, but it's good to know that somebody is staying wet.

I'm reminded of two old songs:
"Eddy my love....."
"Never on Sunday.."
That sez it all! Great day on the water today (thanks to the spinning eddy), rest day for Isabel (and me) tomorrow.
