I googled "custom Nissan van" images and apparently it is impossible to make them look cool, but I have to say the Sprinter and Promaster vans aren't exactly beautiful either.
The side profile of the Nissan van looks like Snoopy's head. |

The guys on "American Pickers" got a new Transit, they're sponsored by Ford. They put all the specs up on the Ford website finally, too. _________________ Spennie the Wind Junkie

Like it very much, so far. I have the gas engine and I am getting an 18 mpg average. Compared to the Sprinter, mine is shorter, but since it is wider, I actually have more cargo space. Ford is coming out with a similar vehicle, so you have another option there.
If you are more than 6 feet, be aware that, taller people have a visibility issue with the Promaster.
Anyways, here's what my PM now looks like:

There is nothing cool about those Nissan vans. They are so incredibly fugly it's insane. They are practical and comfortable to drive though, but NOT cool. |
