AWT Santa Cruz

I am very sad to say I am not going to make it. Poor excuse. New company high demand on my time and low funds.

But that does not mean that the rest of you have an excuse.

This is one of the best events on the tour.
Easy access from any where in the USA. Even from east coast you can be there faster than most can drive to OBX.
A great theater like venue. Gives you a fantastic view of the action.
An amazing team of organizers. Sam and her team makes it all work.
Time of year and weather conditions that are highly reliable.
Santa Cruz the epi-center of west coast surfing. So there is always surfing.
If all else fails tacos and tequila are prevalent.
Goya sponsoring this guy is full of windsurfing stoke you should meet him.
A chance to see some of the top wave sailing guys going all in.
A chance for you to sail in a very user friendly spot.

Ah Peter that's too bad we won't see you in SC this year. You will be missed for sure. I always thought Mercedes Benz should have been one of your sponsors!

I too cannot say enough good things about the AWT events. If you've not attended an AWT event, do yourself a favor and make it happen this year. You'll have a great time, guaranteed!
