[quote="Diman"]I understand that it's not LA, but SF is not that far, wind shouldn't be a lot different? Anyway having a car makes it's easier to find what you are looking for..?)
ummmm, I'm from the East Coast, but California is a pretty big state. Not sure what your definition of "not that far" is. |

But if it's windy in SF, but not like that in LA, may be it's not necessery to make all the way to SF, but some 2 hours drive could make one happy? At least on the weekend... |

Hey Diman. I"m 220 and sail a 7.0 on a Naish 110 Hybrid at Leo the majority of the summer. Occasioally we'll get a really good late afternoon thermal and I'll drop to a 6.0 [or smaller] on my 89L Naish Hybrid. We have a pretty long season, March thru October, with clearing winds through winter.i save my gas money and take the five hour flight to Maui every year for my high wind fix. Good on ya, Bull |

Los Angeles to San Fran can be quite a drive! _________________ 2014 Cabrillo Beach GPS CS (inside)

Skiing is therefore also an obsession, and not just a sport.
Anyhow, 7 hours goes by quick. |

Yes it is. But before you make that 7 hour drive to ski you know if there is snow or not. The wind is always a guess.
