I"m Domond.
Haven't seen you this year. Are you still sailing at Sherman?
Hope all is good with your school and your life.
I know you are well travelled, can take care of yourself most anywhere, but really, take a flight out of the US, landing in LaPaz or Cabo.
Lots of the CSC members are going down this winter, at least 20 sailors, guys and girls, and MikeGodsey, the honcho here at Iwindsurf, is driving down mid Dec looking for caravaning possibilities.
RobMiller of CSC is going down again this winter, and Ming might stay for another 3 months like he did last year.
You should swing by and leave a 3.5 card asking for a ride down. But if you're leaving from LA, you're on your own.
I'd love to join everyone, but already bought tickets again for PuertoRico, bringing even more windsurf and kite gear.

Hey Domond,
Glad to hear from you. I am not driving this year and I talked to Rob and Heidi already about the baja trip. All is good for me, I sailed stick, coyote, larkspur, a little bit everywhere in the bay , even Crissy and a big day at TI!! Too bad that you cannot come, we had a blast last year!
Take care !

Volaris has a shuttle from downtown SD to TIJ, if you are flying with them:

I'll be on that for the first time in December. If I survive, I'll post a review. Very Happy

Hi Steve , no problem for the trainer kite. I hope Baby Girl is doing great ..
If I survived a 6 days driving back and forth Baja-Cali, I can survive the greyhound LA-Tijuana airport.. Razz

Flying Spirit out of SD is so cheap now, it's not even worth going the TJ route. They nail you if you bring excess luggage (bags can only be 40 pounds, not 50 like other airlines) or if you want to pick your seat in advance, but it's generally only about $200 and change round trip. That's about the same price as Volaris out of TJ, but way more convenient.

Thanks for the heads up on Spirit. However, it does not appear that they fly into La Paz. I prefer to fly into La Paz if going to LV. It is a much shorter drive than from Los Cabos.
