Is windsurfing dead?
If you skipped the Mill Hill and Pufferbellies, great action was had by many nearby. There must have been 30+ sailors. One or 2 casual tacks up wind got you easily out of the HOV lane.
May of the old time out of towners hit it perfectly just after closing time.
My toothpick arms were wrung out with a 6.0.
As of yesterday - not yet!

All right not much is going around here or at home obviously –
Back in the day, when I was learning how to abuse alcohol in public, The Mill Hill was in full swing. To me, it lacked the coziness of the Squire or the ‘Ho on a rainy night.
Funny how things change -- I can remember coming to the Cape one weekend to go drinking with some girls (aka young ladies). I asked about SuptheCreeks’. They said no, we're not go’n there, it’s where all the a-hole surfers hang out.

One more Speedy moment and then I'll shut up.
Sad to say I never saw Dick Dale crank out Miserlou at the Beachcomber! |
