Scored a warm after-work session at Alameda Crown beach 5-6:30p, just me and a half-dozen kiters downwind. 135L/7.0@150lb planing 95%, nice 2-miles reaches to the HB ferry channel, a light wind free-ride paradise... |

attempted repeat today, no luck. couple of reaches planing (bagged-out 7.0) 4:30-5, then I saw a bunch of kites hit the water by the beach. slogged my way back and called it a sesh. should have brought the phantom, I'd still be there. |

Berkeley was nice today...powered on my 5.6, sailing back and forth, humming George Jones tunes. _________________ /w\ |

Beautiful day. |

7.3, 155L, just me and two kiters. Made a little slogging investment going out on starboard, downwind payback coming back on port, planing though not blazingly fast. Just as well: very shallow except in the channel.
Very good relaxation session, cut off by ebb, not by wind.
I love the North Natural 7.3: light for its size, though a bit susceptible to rips. |

Really good sailing day with nice swells at Coyote. I was on a new 4.7 Force/85 L. It's nice to break out a new sail and find that it exceeds expectations. This 4.7 has good low end, easy control with a nice soft feel and it certainly made today's sailing pleasurable. A lot of sailors and about 4 or 5 kiters by 3 pm. Should be good wind for the next couple of days. |

Candlestick kind of up and down and Zony in the 4.5 to 5
range.
And although there were no warning signs the SF Police started to
ticket cars along the fence at around 5 .
I wonder what the event was as there was activity in the parking lot
but nothing about any events listed for Candlestick on line.
Lucky I got out in time.
Anybody know what happened event wise.
Got the info it was a 5k race |

While the city was under a very early summer fog Coyote delivered: 4.7 very powered up with great swell outside, still blowing when I left at 6. Counted more than 30 windsurfers. Great day. |
