So "they/the media" aren't your "heads up" sources?

Heads-up sources: places I see and hear stuff for the first time, to be acted on or repeated as fact only after independent verification commensurate with the importance of the issue. This includes virtually any source I can think of.

In isobars' world, right wing talk radio and FOX News are considered fair and balanced sources for important leading news stories. In his view all the other "mainstream media" sources aren't worth the time because they're either making things up or telling lies.

Whatever you're referring to, my comment above apples:

isobars may not want to admit to what he says here, but we all know the truth. He has repeatedly said many many times that Fox News is the most fair and balanced news reporting on TV. Moreover, I can't count how many times he has referred to MSNBC as BSNBC. In fact, on iWindsurf's political and "off topic" forum, he has made a habit of offering disparaging comments about news reporting from ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, LAT and the NYT. Just look at his "the media are FOS" comment he made yesterday on this thread. He can't weasel out of what he's said here so easily.

Folsom Lake.....
On a good year with lots of valley N winds, it can blow from the N, maybe 15 days in the winter and spring.
NW strong coastal wind days depend on thermals to make it in, so maybe 5-10 days on a GOOD year of NW winds.
S winds can be good also, but usually less than 10 days a year.
