Big Ups to Josh and all involved, that was a heck of a show! And dedicating to Mikey is... well, it's just right, and it shows how we're all one big tribe. Fitting words, Josh.

Anyway, congrats on your new family member! Sleep deprivation and 70 knot storm sailing is a great combination! Laughing

And if anyone hasn't caught the video yet:

Shocked

Wild stuff ... to sail in that takes skill, strength and guts/craziness!

My favorite was seeing Mr. Angulo flying in those storm winds one-handed. Even under those crazy conditions still working to wow the fans with style points! Dang.

Perhaps Josh can comment on that. Wowing the fans? I tend more to believe his own words, "scary, radical, stuff". Holding on for dear life, perhaps? I love the way that guy starts kicking as soon as he looses his rig to the wind. Knowing quite well that he's going to be treading a lot of water, wouldn't an experienced man conserve his energy while falling? That was panic. The soundtrack was well chosen. However, Angels don't die, we do.

C'mon Seedy, just let it go...
You can't post a whole thread about cutting some dead pine tree with an electric chain saw that took you 3 hours, then chime in like this.

Most people start kicking cause they are trying to avoid landing on their fin.....you get stylepoints for a cannonball, but not in Ireland in January.

You are again demonstrating why you posess a Dink Factor 9 rating.

Really, Mr. Swift. High altitude bailouts occur primarily as a way to reduce risk of damage, whether landing on gear or picking up the same speed to leeward as the gear took once abandoned. The goal is to avoid hitting either gear or the water too hard.

Boost forty footers enough and you'd hit the eject button just the same.
