Just checked Nantucket Sound Buoy.... Water Temperature (WTMP): 32.7 °F OUCH!!!
SE Nantucket buoy is 41.9F
Boston buoy is 41.9F
It is official all bays and sounds are cancelled until further notice.
Windsurfing is now restricted to ocean side beaches.
Could be in Wed. but not until 3 ish and that is when the rainiest part of the day will be so not looking so good. _________________ www.Clew-View.com

Jerry, how warm do you think the water at Coast Guard will be? The maps show that the water is in the mid-40s a couple of miles out were it's deeper, but it is hard to see how cold it gets closer to shore.
With air temps around 50 on Wednesday, Kalmus would probably be a no-go due to decoupling, even it there's no ice on the water. CG might be better with warmer water and side to side-off winds, albeit pretty flat? |

Lookin' good for Wednesday, if the rain holds off! Guru sez SSW 28-G48 at Kalmus by 1pm & increasing! Upper 40's temps. Probably some wind around even with decoupling. No ice at Kalmus, but no fun there on SSW. Maybe CG ?? The Cut ??? |

Peter I would say the water temp at CG is about 43 F.
I am out. Wife's birthday and we are picking up her new car in Hyannis. Then going for lunch for her birthday. _________________ www.Clew-View.com
