Winds were only 15 knots, I hit 50 knots of speed...not enough for records.
But this ice is still there as are many lakes in that region, so we wait...for the BIG blow...and then speed records will happen...to possible unrealized potential. |

Not to distract from Iceratz video channel (Cause it is THE worldwide source ice windsurfing vids), but here is the grandaddy of all ice windsurfing vids.

I thought there was a resemblence in getting cool shots of action sports from different angles. Especially the carving.
Sorry if you didnt get it. It was an artistic thing. Back to ice season. |

I do appreciate the angles in that vid!
But when you wrote , "coolness from one season earlier" made me think you meant ice season....my bad.
I am always looking for new ways to film, angles ect. I like the idea Jerry mentioned to use a kite. I also have a good powerful kite for that purpose. |

TRUE! That video has been around so long now, hits are piling up!
I remember seeing that a long time ago and is what got me interested in making videos.
Then came along GoPro and outdoor extreme sport video captures changed the world! |
