Your kidding right.... That is bad. I will keep an eye out. My guess is they try to sell it to a surf shop or put in on craigslist. Likely not a windsurfer that took it.

Just notified the RI guys to be on the lookout. Guy stole a kite bar last year and drove right down the street and tried to sell it at the local surf shop. Luckily the owner was on his game and just took it and told the guy it wasnt his. Worth maybe putting the word out to shops nearby.

Kinda surprising that someone would steal a board with the owner's name so boldly displayed on the deck!!! (sorry, the CC boys came up with that one last nite during our annual Christmas Mall Crawl [TM], which mostly takes place at Sam Diego's in Hyannis).
This thief will be carrying around a heavy load of bad karma for a long time. I agree, he/they most likely are not windsurfers and didn't consider how difficult it will be to sell the stolen board.
Josh, have the theft documented with local police, then keep your eyes on Craigslist, EBAY and any other likely place you can think of. The board will probably appear on one of these. Also, traffic to your website may provide clues, since the scumbag thief will want to know the value, etc.
This incident reminds me that, especially in the off-season, and especially on really big days(when few people are at the beach braving the elements), you can't leave your gear unattended.
On a big storm day at First Beach in Newport, a friend left his new AHD board unattended for just a few minutes, and when he returned it was gone. On another storm day, this time at Chapin Beach, my friend Jeff K from Duxbury left his custom Watson on the sand and headed back out on a larger board. A few short tacks later he returned to the beach to find his board gone. Bob Serio of Capetown, SA, also had a JP FW91 stolen off the beach at Chapin on a storm day, while he was in the parking lot rigging his sail!!! Dennis police showed up and did a search of the dunes and stuff, then 2 scumbags showed up asking if someone was missing a surfboard. Maybe they got nervous & realized they would have a tough time getting any cash for it. They all went to their house, in the Chapin's restaurant neighborhood, to find the board in the basement.
Sweet-lookin' ride, I hope you get it back soon!!

Sometimes I think they have a better solution in other counties. Cut the f$$kers hands off if they catch him!!!! (not a lot of thief's in Saudi Arabia).
Your home owners insurance, or vehicle insurance may cover that.

Who would be dumb enough to grab a board! If the abide crew sees it they will be educated directly. Sweet board! Is there a discount on stolen goods?
