I ran it through Google translate but it couldn't help. Bob we love you but throw us a bone sometimes. I hate having to read your reports over and over before it kinda makes sense.

I love the pink car updates. Half the fun is decoding them. My translation is the numbers look good on iwindsurf but it`s real gusty on the river. Swell is head high but lots of lulls. Looks good for later and no one is out yet at Hatch or Swell, even Victor the Inflictor.

PCB has a standard onsite report. In English, regardless of what the sensors say, it reads:
THE WIND IS BLOWING HARD ENOUGH TO POWER UP NORMAL-SIZED MALES ON 3.7 TO 4.2 SQUARE METER SAILS. THE SWELL IS THE SIZE OF [INSERT YOUR FAVORITE LARGE VEHICLE]] EXCEPT WHEN IT'S NOT ... BUT I'M CONFUSED BECAUSE THERE'S ALMOST NOBODY ON THE WATER.
The problem is that Bob translates that standard text into some (very) foreign language (a different one each time), translates the result back into some form of English, and hits SEND. For example, here's how that works when he goes from his canned post above to Arabic, then French, then back to English:
"Wind blows strongly sufficient to ensure normal operation SMES among men to 3.7 4.2 square meters. [Increase in the volume was introduced a vehicle of choice for] [with the exception when it is not ... But I do almost because of the water."

The possibilities are virtually infinite.
Now, isn't Bob clever?
(Which, through the same tortuous path, produces "Does Bob intelligent?"

Now, THAT question I can't answer.

Nice to check into a thread that makes me smile - although that could be the 2 days of 4.2/3.7 wind we've just had...

FWIW, I thought Bob's message made perfect sense!

Corelli head high = Akagi head high = about 5 feet.

I find Bob's reports easier to understand than Freemanese.
