Fairly warm air. Fairly cool water. The season is upon us! Here are some photos for proof!

Yes, reminders of summer for sure.

And that first photo really shows the sweet ski line on snow dome. Classic daily double - snow dome in the am and the the hatch in the pm.

Cold?...dang the water is hitting the 50's I'd say warm, I've been cooking the last two weeks. One guy went out last week no wetsuit (kid you not).

Very cool photos Mike. I love seeing the mountain and the river all in one shot. We have a beautiful playground.

I always dress warm enough to stay alive if I have any gear troubles. One line snap and it could be your last day sailing. That said, I've been in my 4/3 suit with a hooded vest for weeks. Yesterday I went un-hooded and it was fine.

Ironically, that cool thing with all the white stuff up high will give us our biggest challenge ever when the weather warms up. Some folks have realized that when they open the dams to allow the historical record snow melt through, there's gonna be some cold and nasty current going through our playground in the next few weeks.

I saw a whole tree float through at the hatch the day these pics were shot: cold water is not gonna be the only hazard!

An arrogant fool. There is so much debris in the water. So easy to break a fin, if nothing else. And then what?

Hubris + cold water = death.
