Not bad. 4.7 - 5.2 water a little chilly, but didn't spend too much time in it! Smile A good season to come!

My hands got cold (something that had not been a problem the last couple weekends), had to grab the gloves for the second session on sunday.

Note: water temp dropped a degree from last week.

And last week was the coldest damned 47 degrees I've ever seen here. My bare feet are always fine out east by the time Bonneville Dam hits 46, but at "47" last week my feet hurt in minutes ... despite a cloudless sky and air temps in the low 60s it was very obviously much colder than past 46es and past Aprils.

But no way I'd even dream of wearing a so-called "standard Gorge spring 5/3" in April. If I had worn neoprene, it would have been full fleece or a 3/2 shorty under a 5mm dry suit. I was wearing 1mm neoprene and fleece under a GoreTex suit.

Ditto... I was out Sat/Sunday this last weekend, and the Sunday before that. Water temp not an issue with the 5/3 Promotion storm... pretty much standard for Gorge spring sailing I'd say from the number of people wearing them.
