Nice video Mr. Boyd.
Thanks for sharing.

See you again down at the beach soon.
It is going to be good most of next week at the spots south of ano.

Still remember your very-pre "goPro" from over ten years back,
with the backpack & helmet cam at W.
Break out some of those tapes when you have time.

@hemmy - thanks for your note, I'll pass it along to Ian. This is Wayne, his dad. I've helped Ian build most of the mounts he uses. It's nice to see him back on the water enthusiastic about playing around with cameras again...

Ian was always one of the best windsurfers on the planet, great to see him still active. Question; can we trace trick (freestyle) back to Ian? He was the first one I saw trying things and perfecting moves no one else even thought of.

You can definitely trace him back to the late-80s and early-90s as a wave and shortboard freestyle guy writing how-to articles, making instructional videos and hosting clinic tours. We recently watched a DVD together featuring a bunch of flat water freestyle young guns and Ian was blown away at how far the tricks and maneuvers have come.

Is there any doubt that Ian could be fantastic at modern freestyle-not in my mind.
