BUT I set the WORLD windsurfing speed record. My GPS says 134mph max speed during the session. Man I must have been screaming......

Only 134? Off the wind out back felt more like 200. I'm gonna kill myself if I keep that up. Great day at our weedy little shithole.

Berkeley big Sat., 4.5 and 66l.
Sun early could have 5.5, but jammed ankle Sat.
Monday solid average 24, 5.3 and 84l., needed smaller.
Tuesday just planing 5.0 Koa and 99, maybe 90% with judicious pumping.
Wed. looking horrid, maybe heal the ankle, swim some, and paddle around.

Candlestick on Tuesday: Most guys on 5.0s Nice and warm with flat water

Candlestick on Wednesday: Lighter wind... plus 1-2 sail sizes, but even warmer. I sailed 5.6 and 108l... and went without the wetsuit Very Happy

nice melow day yesterday on a 5.7. No weeds - that's the good news - something may be inhibiting them - that's the bad news. Does that explain the condition of my toes, or is it just an occupational hazard?

Monday; forecast looked ok, loaded up and drove to the stick....thwarted by the ninja marine layer of death

Tuesday; worked all afternoon and got text messages about how windy the stick was.

Yesterday: had to do some worky stuff, but took the gear with me..just in case..no text alerts, so I didn't bother going out.

*Sigh*

Evidently, I can make it windy by not being able to go sailing on almost any given day. How can I fool the wind gods into thinking I am at work?

What's the wind range and direction, as read by the iwindsurf sensor, for Candlestick to be fun sailing? No love here for 3rd sailors since Sunday, so looking for options!
