Hey guys/gals,
Does anybody on this forum sail along the NH coast? I'm new to the state and I'm trying to get some info on the launch sites around Hampton, Seabrook, etc.
I did a search on here with no luck. No surprise since NH isn't exactly a windsurfing hot spot. I also emailed the only shop in the state.
Thanks everyone in advance!

Sorry, can't help you, but figured I'd respond to suggest you also post (if you haven't already) in the east coast forum.

Just a couple ideas: I've definitely never sailed there, but you could check to see if Hampton Beach State Park has a decent sandy launch for windsurfing... You could also cross over to Plum Beach!, just south across the state line...
iWindsurf's alternative website, WindAlert.com, has some additional coverage for the NH Coast area... For starters, check:
A search for "Hampton, NH":

Isle Of Shoals (offshore) station:

(Screen Shot of the bottom half of this station's page, attached.)
iWindsurf's excellent Plumb Island station:

NH the hidden secret. I live here and rule the local waters so you will have to buy your protection from me when i see you.
seabrook harbor for westerly stuff
ocean for everything else.
we get more wind and waves here than people realize and it aint crowded
everything from he fastest speed ditch in the worodl when tie and wind are right to 15ft down the line lefts off a point break. live free or die

Sweet.... thanks for the info guys! Totally appreciate it.
I did a Google and YouTube search this weekend and started finding stuff about Hampton Harbor. It looks really good. Sailing right across from the nuclear power plant. Nice!!
JRuffus, maybe I'll see ya out there sometime. I'm about an hour and a half away.

JR,
You definitely caught my attention with this. Quote: | 15ft down the line lefts off a point break. | Would you be willing to share more info?
