|
|
Every forecast that I can find for Boston tomorrow morning, (including IWindsurf's computer model), says E or NE winds. IWindsurf's wind meteorologists expect NW or WNW winds. It must be a question of timing of the frontal passage.
So who's right? Anyone want to take bets?
For me it's the difference between staying local to Boston, or driving almost 2 hours to Chapin. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

I think they are both right....
Seriously consider horseneck....it's supposed to clock, and the western sites will get it earlier......you could just watch the region to see it evolve, leave the house when it's right......what about little old Rhode Island? _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

I suspect the wind will stay Easterly all day tomorrow.
Not NW until Sunday.
It is odd that the IW forecasters are calling for NW.
Maybe they expect a faster track.
As of 4 pm even NWS says E-NE tomorrow and they have more credibilty.
I like the Idea of a WNW shift though. |

www.intellicast.com and their windcast chart I think is the most reliable of all predictions. They have a big fade tomorrow pm, boo, although it holds on to the Cape latest. All easterly till Sunday. They show the storm passing south of the Cape with weak NW on Sunday. This storm passage looks somewhat unpredictable while it hangs around, slow to move. |

I like Matt Corey's forecasts. He acknowledges the uncertainty, explains why it's uncertain, and whether he is agreeing with the majority models or not.
So now everyone agrees that it will be E or NE. It will be W. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

You are right, Matt is one of the better forecasters. |
