Skateboarding (vert). Board had a truck wobble (front truck too loose, going too fast) just as I was heading into a deep bowl; board stayed behind as I sailed down into the flat of the bowl head/hands first. Hands hit before I had time to try to tuck and roll through it. Left hand took the brunt of it (induce a roll though, which saved my face) but both wrists ended up bad enough for plates.
Lucky it was just/only my wrists, actually.
Been three months, I've got about 90% mobility and strength back. Ready to take the new hardware out for a spin. |

| I haven't ever sailed at Castaic, but from what I understand, the best wind direction there was from the northeast. Clearing/frontal winds definitely favor ocean sites. |
