I love Kevin's signature move - the sail-throw-double-birdie salute. I've captured that on film at least twice.

teerok, have you sailed candlestick? it's a fun place to sail, and it will be one of the few places that gets wind toward the tail end of our season.

Looks like we're neighbors in the Sunset!

No sir...haven't sailed anywhere in the bay or the delta yet.

Starting to get back into sailing after a 15 year hiatus...seeing you all out there is really inspiring. I still have my 8' 8" Seatrend, but no rig components, so I may be a spectator until I buy some new (used) gear.

When I last sailed in real wind, I was 100% waterstarting and making about 25% nice carve jibes. Maybe 50% on a good day....but this was on Floras Lake, which has a very low intimidation factor, even when it's blowing 35+ kts. So while not really a beginner, I do need to ease into Bay sailing and confirm my skills and comfort level.

Soon, hopefully

Hey Teerok,

Email me if you need some stuff. I have new and used gear for sale, and there are some good closeout deals right now, too.

The season's not over, and there's still a lot of fun days left... and we have the winter storms as well at Half Moon Bay (and other places).

Going to Da Stick now!

Stick's a little too flat to keep me engaged as a regular, BUT:
1. makes for screaming jibes due to less chop
2. longer season than most spots
3. unlike 3rd/Coyote, can handle a little SW flow without dying
4. one of few places to blow when it's hot
5. one of few if any places that sails better on a on a flood

Under certain conditions, you could do a lot worse; at other times, you can't do better.
