i have lost wedding bands whilst sailing and other boardsports. does not mean i dont wanna be married, just means i cannot wear a ring in the water, right? however i am trully embarassed as to the number of rings lost. i feel dorkier than this feller:

Between the gym, windsurfing, and dirt biking many days a week for decades, I've never lost a ring ... because I took my wedding band off >35 years ago to avoid losing it and/or tearing up my finger again.
Now, I KNOW it's around here somewhere ... I saw it a few years ago.
when I stop doing things which damage or lose rings or which cause rings to gouge up my hands, I'll find it and put it back on.
I don't need a ring to remind me I'm married, so the only drawback to not wearing one is that damn Darcy, who just WON'T leave me alone.

You could put it through your nose, eye brow, ear lobe, belly button, lip,on a lanyard ,ad infinitum.....or as I do when I remember to do so on my key chain carabiner. WS |

Have not been able to wear a wedding band since crashing my bike while unsuccessfully trying to jump a curb with my Lab on her leash and dislocating my ring finger at a 90 degree angle...oh well. |

Well, I used to not wear mine sailing, but frankly, I got tired of being hit
on by all the women on my way back to the vehicle,
so now I just leave it on. Unfortunately, even that is only about
50% effective.
