ttt too tired to type
After a double up yesterday, I crawled into bed by 8:45.
Hung over today from too much water, I draggedon with a late day lawn mowing session. When done instead of taking a shower back on went the smelly wetsuit for another 6-7:30 trip out to the club.
Conditions were alittle cleaner than last night. Grade A with the new board!!
Tomorrow will be a day of rest.

Point of Order Mr Chairman.
Ron was there first. (by like a year)
He has Orleans ( not Cchat-hamm) sticker....unless you walk or paddle, you need that sticker
I named it sup-er bowl on this forum for temporary clarification.
As such, it is mine to retract.
It has at least 18 holes. 9 rights and 9 lefts (the back nine)
It is the Club imho!
While i was rocking out till sunset last nite.....got taken to school by Shawn Vecc.......we have a lot of work to do to catch his level!, _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

According to Phil Clark the break was called Mini-Malibu long before the Country Club or SUP-er Bowl. So if is going to be re-named let's at least call it something cool. _________________ www.Clew-View.com

Results of the Mini Malibu County Club SUPer Bowl Surf Challange of 6/7/09:
Top Performance (of any method): Mac - showed an ease of getting out and catching the best waves, rode all with top style, Mike said Mac's talent was really good, and no (visable)wipe outs. A straight up fair fight win - oh ya Mac was the only she among the he's! I bet you guys were too busy hogging the waves on the south side to notice.
Wave Domination: The Whole SUP Crew - I was impressed with the abililty to catch a wave long before it ramped, Most if not all were impressive with riding along withpaddling back out through the impact zone.
Best Mentor: Tom out with one of his sons. I met them last year at the same break. It's great to see father and son's enjoying the same sport. It looked like the conditions got the better of them, but still smiling from ear to ear. A small part of buying my new board is to give the kids equal access on any given day. I hope it pays off
Best Big Brother: morebeachdotcom Mike - I suck at surfing, but would be even worse off if it wasn't for our sunrise sessions.
Practice What You Preach: Phil - Not only does he sell it (and has probably made a eff'g good buck at it) but he was right in the middle of it. He used to be a good sailor too!
Best Effort: Me - If I'm in charge of handing out the gold, I'll save some for myself. Saturday pm (on my own), Sunday am and pm (with Outcast) and Monday PM (with unidentified SUPer). A little over a week with 6 trips, 4 of which on the "What I Ride". I feel llike the debt is is already being paid down.
Speaking of the wave hogging power of SUPs, my atttitude is if I'm laying down and paddling by hand, I'm going for even if a SUP is there first. You guys can't take every one!!!
SCOPPER Will have to make the trip some day!
To late to proof, RC |
