I never sailed Leesylvania, how does it compare on south winds with Sandy Point which is where I usually go.

Sandy Point was good, solid 20+ MPH until the front moved through. Stuck with my 6.6 though overpowered at times.

I'm at Sandy point, line to get in but plenty of parking by the launch area. Llooks good enough for my 6.6.

I'm not sure Mason Neck is sailable with south winds, check windsurfresource.com.

Looks like Point Lookout is the best bet with winds in the 20's, but with rain going through. Thought about going but the 1.5 hour drive didn't make it worth if it's raining there.

I'm thinking that too, more since it's the closest place given I can't get out until 2:00. I've sailed there once last year, wasn't crazy about having to wade through all the weeds.
