I might add that "bad" at 3-mile is a bit relative. We are not talking Rufus bad. Rather, "bad" there is actually pretty good comparatively.

The swell at 3 mile is considerably bigger than many other locations due to the long fetch. I was there last Friday on 5.2 WS conditions. Swell was bigger and smother than 4.2 at Hatchery. Meter is ...

Thanks for the information and links above. Just ordered a neck gaiter. I started wearing a mask rigging, but not for the walk to/from the water. Neck gaiter solves that issue nicely.
