9.0 sails, 177 liter boards, add foil= 70% of the fleet exploding.
Crissy would work only if it's fogged in.

Orange Severne 9.0 sails? Blue Starboards?
They were in Berkeley last week, mostly dusted in Sat races in winds 12-20, up in Gorge this week. IQ class?

Keep it on until you are planing, which takes about 11 mph boardspeed.

Garda was half the price of any other sail offered by any other company.
Garda had deeper draft at the head than at boom height.
Garda was cheap, lightweight, great for beginners in light breeze ...

Garda can still be a good lightwind foiling sail.
Hot Sails is selling 2 used Superfreak 5.8"s for under $250.

Garda was a blown out, vinyl bag when it was brand new.
Suitable for sub 15 mph breeze only, if you like draft shifty performance. Good for a day at the lake with the family, a decent rain and suns ...

As for sail sizes.....
Past 2 months, I am foiling on 4.5 sail while my buds who are LIGHTER than me need 6.0 to 7.3 meter sails. And I foil more often than they plane. Similar skills.

Windfoil favors big guys.
Notice that DvCali and I are 70 kilos, which allows windsurfing 140+ days a year near San Francisco.
Foil also benefits light wind spots. The foil presents extra lift, ...
