I live near LAX, and work in Santa Monica. In terms of skill, I'd say intermediate (15 knot winds, waterstarts, small waves).

I haven't seen any windsurfers around the LA beaches - is it not allowed? If so, does the ban apply to the entire Los Angeles beach front, and is full-time, or are there exceptions, like maybe weekday ...
