1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of

.synopsis...a cold front averaging 29.60 inches will slowly work 
through the central great lakes today...triggering showers and 
strong thunderstorms through this evening before the wind turns from 
the north and bring cooler and less humid air back into the region. 
the northerly flow will build waves over the south half of lake 
huron until high pressure settles in for the middle of the week.

.synopsis...a trough of low pressure averaging 29.6 inches was
over lower michigan this morning and is expected to slide east and
reach the eastern great lakes tonight. a large area of high
pressure averaging 30.3 inches over the central plains will
quickly move east towards the western great lakes this evening. 
then the high pressure will remain over the region through
tuesday...with the ridge center sliding east of lake michigan by

.synopsis...a 29.5 inch low over southwestern quebec will track
east into new england by this evening. 30.2 inch high pressure over
the western high plains will move into the central plains tonight
while strengthening to 30.3 inches. this high will move into the ohio
river valley monday into monday night and then into the lower great
lakes on tuesday. this high pressure system will shift over new
england on wednesday and strengthen further to 30.6 inches with
ridging remaining across the great lakes through thursday.
