.synopsis...weak low pressure and an associated cold front,
gradually lowering to 29.80 inches, will slowly drift southward
from the northern great lakes this weekend. the front and low
pressure will wash out with time as the weekend progresses. a
region of higher pressure, increasing to 30.00 inches, will then
build across the region early next week.

.synopsis...through sunday, the western great lakes will remain 
between a high pressure ridge averaging 29.9 inches across the 
east coast and a low pressure trough averaging 29.6 inches across 
the great plains. high pressure of 30.1 inches will build from 
central canada into the eastern great lakes by the middle of next 
week as the trough lingers across the great plains and rockies.

the trough will weaken to 29.9 inches on monday as it shifts to 
the lower great lakes. high pressure of 30.1 inches will follow 
across northern ontario and the upper great lakes by late monday. 
on tuesday, the 30.1 inch high will shift over quebec. a 29.5 inch
low tracks east out of the dakotas on early wednesday morning and
moves across the north half of minnesota through the day on 
wednesday.
