waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights...which
is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along
with the average height of the highest 10 percent of the waves
which will occasionally be encountered.
.synopsis....low pressure of 29.6 inches across far southern
hudson bay this evening will move to northern quebec by monday
afternoon. an extending cold front from this low will move
eastward into the western great lakes monday night...with a low
around 29.7 inches further developing along the front over
wisconsin. the front will clear the lake by daybreak tuesday with
high pressure of 30.1 inches building over the lake by tuesday
night and then gradually weaken over the central lakes wednesday
into thursday. a weak stationary front will remain south of the
great lakes during midweek.
