.strong east winds are expected as low pressure moves up along the
atlantic seaboard. these strong winds combined with seas of 10 to
14 feet could lead to some minor splashover along the hancock
county coast around the time of high tide.

  harbor.

.a strong nor'easter will bring onshore flow through the morning
resulting in 1 to 2 ft of storm surge. while tides are
astronomically low... waves of 15 to 20 ft combined with surge
will cause minor flooding and splashover around the time of high
tide. high tide at portland is 9.0 ft at 830 am.
