waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...a broad 29.4 inch low will advance from lake huron 
to southwest quebec today while deepening to 29.3 inches.
this system will push an occluded front across the lake today. 
the 29.3 inch low will exiting across the saint lawrence valley 
tonight. as the low moves across the canadian maritimes on 
wednesday...a 30.5 inch ridge will move across the upper great 
lakes. the ridge will cross the lower great lakes thursday and 
thursday night...then will make its way across new england on 
friday.

lake effect snow showers likely after midnight. waves 4 to 7 feet
building to 6 to 10 feet. waves occasionally around 13 feet.
