...small craft advisory remains in effect until 6 pm edt
wednesday...
...high surf advisory is in effect thru monday evening...

* winds...northeast 10 to 15 kt tonight becoming northeast to
north at 20 to 30 kt late sunday thru early tuesday.

* seas...will peak in the 7 to 11 foot range by late sunday thru
  much of tuesday.

* impact...mariners will face hazardous conditions when navigating
thru area inlets to and from the atlantic, as well as the mouths
of the lower cape fear river and winyah bay respectively. this
is especially true when maria's swell encounters an outgoing
tide, whereby, large waves are produced that could easily
  overtake a vessel.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots
and or seas of 6 ft or greater are expected to produce hazardous
wave conditions, especially for smaller vessels. steep wave
conditions are possible, especially near inlet entrances.
