...dense fog developing...

.the combination of radiational cooling and abundant surface
moisture from heavy rainfall yesterday has lead to areas of dense
fog across southwest mississippi and portions of southeast
louisiana. satellite imagery shows the main area of impact to be
from bogalusa to hammond to baton rouge and northward. interstate
cameras from ladotd also show very low visibilities at times.
although increasing low level clouds will cause fog to lift,
conditions at this time are widespread enough to justify an
advisory.

...dense fog advisory in effect until 8 am cst this morning...

the national weather service in new orleans has issued a dense
fog advisory...which is in effect until 8 am cst this morning.

* visibility... 1/4 mile or less

* duration...through sunrise and possibly an hour or 2 afterwards.

* impacts...motorists are advised to use extreme caution and
