the national weather service in new orleans has issued a dense
fog advisory...which is in effect from 9 pm this evening to 9 am
cst monday.
* visibility...one quarter mile or less.
* duration...areas of fog tonight through mid morning.
* impacts...reduced visibilities on area roadways including both
interstates 10 and 12.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. if driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
