continues for
  the santa fe river at three rivers estates.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at  7:00 am wednesday the stage was 21.5 feet.
* moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* forecast...the river will continue to fall to a stage of 20.2 feet 
  by tomorrow morning.
* impact...at 21.0 feet...homes are surrounded on river run road in 
  suwannee county. structures flood along santa fe road west of idaho
  parkway in columbia county. 
* impact...at 20.0 feet...access to homes on santa fe road below sw 
  riverside avenue becomes restricted in columbia. flooding begins on
  santa fe and wilson springs road.
* impact...at 19.8 feet...waters begins to affect homes in the 
  hollingsworth bluff area at state route 47.
* impact...at 19.0 feet...water begins to enter backyards of 
  residences along the ichetucknee river. 
* impact...at 18.8 feet...florida fish and wildlife commission expands
  the no wake zone restriction further upstream on the santa fe river
  from the unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream on the wilson's spring
  boat ramp to one-half mile upstream of the state road 47 bridge.
* impact...at 18.0 feet...water begins to flood river run road in 
  suwannee county. 
* impact...at 17.0 feet...water begins to enter backyards of 
  residences on santa fe road in columbia county and on river run 
  road in suwannee county. 
* impact...at 16.2 feet...florida fish and wildlife commission begins 
  enforcement of a no wake zone on the santa fe river from the 
  unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream of the wilson's spring boat 
  ramp to the confluence with the suwannee river and on the 
  ichetucknee river upstream to the us 27 bridge.
* impact...at 16.0 feet...lowland flooding begins on sw santa fe drive
  south of santa fe road in columbia county.

* at  9:45 am wednesday the stage was 28.6 feet.
* moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* forecast...the river will continue to fall to a stage of 27.5 feet 
  by tomorrow morning.
* impact...at 25.0 feet...damage to homes at low elevation as well as 
  basement areas underneath homes on stilts is likely.
* impact...at 23.2 feet...florida fish and wildlife commission begins 
  enforcement of a no wake zone on the santa fe river from the 
  centerline of the us 27 bridge downstream to one-half mile upstream
  from the state road 47 bridge.
* impact...at 23.0 feet...minor damage to dwellings is possible due to
  boat wash.

river levels continue to slowly recede on the shingle creek near 
campbell and levels will remain above flood stage through late 
week. rain chances increase friday, but forecast rainfall amounts
remain low, so additional rises due to heavy rain over the basin 
are not expected through that time.

*at 5.5 feet, significant flooding occurs to many structures and 
marinas along the river and in the hontoon island area.  
*at 5.0 feet, water starts to enter buildings around hontoon island. 
many secondary roads and homes in low lying areas are flooded.

  the st. johns river near above lake harney near geneva.
* major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. 

*at 10.8 feet, water covers state road 46 and it may become 
impassable near jungle road and prevatt road. standing water on 
secondary roads near the river deepens to more than three feet in 
some areas. flooding becomes more significant to structures and 
marinas from above lake harney to the lake jesup area.  
*at 10.5 feet, water covers many secondary roads near the river, 
limiting access to homes to boats or high terrain vehicles. flooding 
of homes along secondary roads near the river becomes more 
significant. water begins to encroach on state road 46 near jungle 
road and prevatt road.  
*at 10.0 feet, flooding of homes in low lying areas becomes more 
significant. many secondary roads are impassable, limiting access to 
homes.

*at 4.5 feet, major flooding occurs to homes and businesses along the
river.  
*at 3.5 feet, moderate flooding occurs with many yards and streets 
along the river and with canals flooded, water enters the first floor
of low lying homes. flooding to docks and yards at condominiums on 
juno trail and docks at astor bridge marina. roads flooded in south 
moon fish camp and starting to move over the sea wall at blair's 
jungle den.

  peace river at zolfo springs 
  horse creek near arcadia 

...the flood warning continues for the following rivers in florida...

  withlacoochee at trilby 
  withlacoochee river at croom 
  cypress creek at worthington gardens 
  myakka river at myakka river state park 
  peace river at bartow 
  peace river at arcadia 

.flooding continues across many local rivers. most rivers in the
area have seen their peak flooding and are on a gradual receding trend.
however...the withlacoochee river at trilby and croom will continue to
slowly rise...cresting either today or tomorrow. the river levels will
then generally remain steady through the remainder of the week...which will
prolong the worst flooding this area has seen in over 50 years.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

do not drive cars through flooded areas.

* at 08 am wednesday the stage was 17.6 feet.
* major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* the river will continue rising to near 17.7 feet by tomorrow early afternoon 
  then begin falling.
* impact...at 15.6 feet...water is 2 to 3 feet over the bridge at clay sink 
  road and state road 575.
* impact...at 15.3 feet...riverdale trailers are flooded.
* impact...at 14.2 feet...river road east of the river is flooded. one campsite
  at the park is flooded. peterson park is flooded and closed. one home on 
  cercelia road is isolated. the florida campland is flooded. wood river court 
  homes are isolated. and the withlacoochee river canoe rental is flooded.
* impact...at 12.0 feet...flooding begins at lacoochee, talisman estates, 
  riverdale, and river height estates.
* flood history...this crest compares to a previous crest of 17.9 feet on sep 11 
  1950.
