Onsite Reports (beta!)
10:30 am, windfind:
Bluff report: Hatchery/Swell - by Mike Godsey @ 10:40 AM: The sensor is reading 18g29 which is about right. Very patchy winds right now and no one is out. There are 4 huge lulls inbound from the west covering about 4 miles of river. Then towards Viento large white caps indicate strong wind. It may take a hour or two for those winds to reach the Hatch. Sporadic gusts on the bluff.

Meanwhile.... the Maryhill sensor it issuing bogus reports so ignore it. Use the Wall sensor but remember it can read 5-8 knots high.

Last report of the day.
9:30 am, windfind:
Bluff report: Hatchery/Swell - by Mike Godsey @ 9:40AM: The sensor is reading 17g22 which is about right. One large sail out planing about 50% of the time. Huge bands of lulls inbound but there are building white caps towards Viento. So the wind should improve. Broken high marine layer clouds which is not a good sign for steady winds. Random gusts to 18 knots on the bluff.
An onsite report is an eye-witness account of what the wind is doing right now, or very recently. This page shows all onsite reports posted today. Anyone can post an onsite report!
