...late spring storm to bring snow to the blue mountains
tonight and wednesday morning...
.a unseasonably cold low pressure system will remain over the
area tonight and over the next few days. this system is cold
enough for snow to fall at elevations above 300o feet with
accumulating snow above 4000 feet tonight.

wednesday above 4000 feet...
a winter weather advisory above 4000 feet remains in effect until
10 am pdt wednesday.
* snow accumulations: 2-4 inches above 4000 feet with up to 2
inches possible at locations between 3000 and 4000 feet.
* elevation: above 4000 feet.
* timing: snow showers tonight into wednesday morning.
* locations include: ski bluewood resort...tollgate...meacham
* winds: south wind 10 to 15 mph
* impacts: interstate 84 and oregon highway 204 will have snow
in places and may become slippery by morning.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a winter weather advisory is issued when snow is occurring or is
expected to develop and accumulate. travel may be hazardous...
especially on bridges...overpasses...and secondary roads.
