...red flag conditions likely on wednesday for all of south
southwest new mexico and far west texas...
.a moderate to strong upper level trough of low pressure will move
into the central and southern rockies wednesday which will produce
a deepening low pressure system at the surface east of the
mountains in colorado and new mexico. the resulting surface
pressure gradient will help to mix down high winds aloft and these
winds will combine with very low humidities and high fire danger
to produce red flag conditions.
