* at 320 pm edt...doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers
and thunderstorms entering the midcoast region and heading
northwest towards the capital region. up to three inches of rain
has fallen in this regionw with an additional inch or so rainfall
expected overnight. this will cause minor flooding in the
advisory area.

* urban flood advisory for street flooding in...
lower keys in monroe county in florida...
this includes the communities of...no name key...big pine key and
little palm island...
* until 630 pm edt
* at 425 pm edt...a persistent band of showers has set up from
the seven mile bridge to niles channel over the past few hours.
radar estimates indicate total rainfall of 2 to 3 inches has
fallen. storm spotters from big pine key have reported widespread
street flooding is occurring. an additional one to two inches of
rain can be expected in these areas through 6 pm.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a flood advisory means widespread ponding of water and street
flooding in urban areas is occurring or is imminent.

.flood bulletin no. 6
heavy showers over the south slopes of the olympics late wednesday
into early this morning has kept the skokomish running high. the
skokomish will gradually recede and will fall below flood stage
this afternoon.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas...this is
the cause of most flood related deaths in washington. be alert for
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to noaa weather
radio or other local media.
