...areas of dense fog this morning...

areas of dense fog have formed this morning across the capital
region...lake george saratoga region...taconics...berkshires...and
portions of southern vermont. the fog will reduce visibilities to
less than a half mile at times prior to 6 am. motorists are
encouraged to slow down and use low beams on the roadways when
encountering the dense fog. the fog should dissipate towards
daybreak.

tonight. this...coupled with residual moisture...may allow patchy
black ice to develop this evening and into the overnight hours.
