the national weather service in springfield has issued a

* flood advisory for...
  barry county in southwest missouri...

* until noon cdt.

* at 607 am cdt...national weather service doppler radar indicated   
  heavy rainfall across the advisory area. radar indicated that one  
  to locally three inches had fallen over portions of the advisory   
  area early this morning. an additional one half to one inch of     
  rainfall will be possible this morning. 

* runoff from this heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding.
  locations in the advisory include...butterfield...cassville...eagle
  rock...exeter...golden...jenkins...ridgley...roaring river state
  park...seligman...shell knob...washburn...wayne and wheaton.
  creeks...streams and low water crossings will be especially
  susceptible to the dangers of flooding.

this advisory includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...
