...light to moderate snow in the umpqua tonight into wednesday
morning...

.a low pressure system will move in from the north tonight
bringing snow to portions of the umpqua basin and into the umpqua
divide. snow in the mountains and a rain snow mix in the valleys
will develop late this evening and then spread south and become
all snow everywhere as temperatures cool overnight. the highest
accumulations are likely to occur in the mountains, especially
the passes along interstate 5 between roseburg and grants pass.

  canyonville. much of interstate 5 will be impacted, especially 
  the passes between roseburg and grants pass.

* when...from 10 pm this evening to 10 am pst wednesday. the 
  highest snowfall rates are expected around dawn wednesday.

* additional details...plan on slippery road conditions, 
  including during the morning commute on wednesday. be prepared 
  for reduced visibilities at times.
