advisory...which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 am pst
* low temperatures...mid 30s.
* locations include...valley and coastal locations with the
exception of areas less than a half mile from the coast.
locations include eureka...arcata...mckinleyville...
fortuna...boonville...willits and ukiah.

precautionary/preparedness actions...
a frost advisory means that frost is possible. sensitive outdoor
plants may be killed if left uncovered.

...wind advisory remains in effect until 10 am pst saturday for
the purcell trench...
* winds...northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* timing...winds will increase through the overnight hours and
peak by early morning. winds will slowly decrease late saturday
* impacts...scattered power outages are possible as tree
branches break into power lines. unachored high surface area
objects may be shifted or toppled. in addition wind chill
temperatures saturday morning will drop to the low single
digits above zero.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a wind advisory means that winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected.
winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
high profile vehicles. use extra caution.
