the national weather service in medford has issued a small craft 
advisory for hazardous seas...which is in effect from 11 pm this 
evening to 11 am pdt tuesday. 

* winds...north 15 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots.

* seas...very steep and wind driven at 8 to 11 feet. 

* areas affected...small craft conditions are expected in all 
  areas out to 5 nm from shore...with very steep and hazardous 
  seas impacting all areas beyond 5 nm from shore.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a hazardous seas warning means very steep and hazardous sea
conditions are imminent or occurring. recreational boaters should

been issued. this small craft advisory is in effect from 5 pm 
saturday to 11 pm pdt monday. 

* winds...north 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots.

* seas...steep and wind driven at 4 to 7 feet saturday...becoming
  very steep and hazardous at 8 to 11 feet sunday into monday.
