  of around 7 seconds through early evening. seas will diminish
  briefly later this evening as wind waves subside. then a heavy
  west swell of 17 to 20 feet at 16 seconds will arrive tonight
  and continue into sunday.

* areas affected: the steepest seas will occur over the outer
  waters...beyond 10 nm from shore late tonight through sunday
  morning. however...steep...powerful swells will make it all the
  way to shore on sunday...resulting in hazardous conditions over
  the inner waters and in the surf zone as well.
