controlled releases out of lake tahoe have been decreased, lessening
flood concerns along the truckee river. keep in mind that the
truckee river will continue to run very fast and cold, bringing the
risk of hypothermia for those without protective gear. changes to
planned releases and/or warmer temperatures may once again bring
about flood concerns, so anyone with interests along the truckee
river should pay close attention to the forecast through at least
mid-june.
