* until monday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at  3 am saturday the stage was 100.4 feet.
* flood stage is 100.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will remain in flood today...then begin to
fall below by tonight and fall below flood stage on sunday.
* at 100.4 feet...the water begins to overflow one or more marinas 
  along the northwest shores. the piers on the wildlife road bridge 
  over singleton creek become submerged.

  counties 
  
.river levels have dropped below flood stage on the pee dee river at cheraw.
with no rain expected for the next 24 hours levels will continue to fall.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

  farmland and river bottomland near cheraw will be flooded. portions
  of riverside park become flooded.

* until further notice.
* at 9:00 pm friday...the stage was 19.37 feet.
* flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* the river will continue rising to near 22.2 feet by early monday 
  afternoon...then begin falling.
* at 23.0 feet...flooding will affect swamp and timberlands while also 
  disrupting logging operations. operations will likely cease and equipment not 
  previously moved will remain trapped. some farmland will have minor flooding 
  especially around britton neck.

  morning, and then remain steady.
* impact...at 9.0 feet, minor flood stage. farmlands and timberlands 
  adjacent to the river in roanoke rapids flood.
