  the big creek near cumming.
* until this evening.
* at 8 am sunday the stage was 7.5 feet...and nearly steady.
* minor flooding will continue.
* flood stage is 6 feet.
* the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late this 
  afternoon.
* at 7 feet...minor flooding continues to expand into the natural 
  flood plain of the creek upstream and downstream from the gage at 
  atlanta highway or georgia highway 9. large portions of the 
  sidewalk and boardwalk of the big creek greenway will be flooded. 
  the areas under the georgia 400 highway and mcfarland road will be 
  covered with around two feet of water. a portion of the sidewalk 
  under majors road will be covered with around 3 feet of water.

  the big creek near alpharetta.
* until tuesday morning.
* at 9 am sunday the stage was 8.6 feet...and rising.
* minor flooding will continue.
* flood stage is 7 feet.
* the river will continue rising to near 9.4 feet by after midnight. 
  the river will fall below flood stage tuesday morning.
* at 9 feet...minor flooding expands along the creek from near 
  cumming to alpharetta and roswell. backyards of homes off seale 
  drive and gunter court and portions of the golf of georgia begin to
  flood. the big creek greenway experiences significant flooding up 
  to 3 feet deep...which results in closure of most of the paths. 
  this especially occurs upstream and downstream from the gage on 
  kimball bridge road and rock mill park. a large portion of the ymca
  campground off preston ridge road will be under a foot of water.

  the river will fall below flood stage monday morning.

  downstream from the gage at u s highway 23 or buford highway. most 
  of the suwanee creek greenway and trails are flooded from the 
  suwanee creek park to george pierce park. the minor flooding will 
  also begin to affect portions of the playground area behind the 
  suwanee elementary school.

  suwannee county. santa fe road in columbia county is inaccessible. 
* impact...at 21.0 feet...homes are surrounded on river run road in 
  suwannee county. structures flood along santa fe road west of idaho
  parkway in columbia county. 
* impact...at 20.0 feet...access to homes on santa fe road below sw 
  riverside avenue becomes restricted in columbia. flooding begins on
  santa fe and wilson springs road.
* impact...at 19.8 feet...waters begins to affect homes in the 
  hollingsworth bluff area at state route 47.
* impact...at 19.0 feet...water begins to enter backyards of 
  residences along the ichetucknee river. 
* impact...at 18.8 feet...florida fish and wildlife commission expands
  the no wake zone restriction further upstream on the santa fe river
  from the unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream on the wilson's spring
  boat ramp to one-half mile upstream of the state road 47 bridge.
* impact...at 18.0 feet...water begins to flood river run road in 
  suwannee county. 
* impact...at 17.0 feet...water begins to enter backyards of 
  residences on santa fe road in columbia county and on river run 
  road in suwannee county. 
* impact...at 16.2 feet...florida fish and wildlife commission begins 
  enforcement of a no wake zone on the santa fe river from the 
  unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream of the wilson's spring boat 
  ramp to the confluence with the suwannee river and on the 
  ichetucknee river upstream to the us 27 bridge.
* impact...at 16.0 feet...lowland flooding begins on sw santa fe drive
  south of santa fe road in columbia county.

* forecast...the river will continue rising to near 14.3 feet by 
  tuesday evening then begin falling.
* impact...at 14.0 feet...minor flooding continues in the woodlands 
  along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on the u.s. 
  highway 221 bridge. the water covers the low portion and entrance 
  of towns bluff lane by the bridge. the public boat ramp is under 
  two feet of water. flood waters expand further into south 
  montgomery county around 1.5 miles upstream from the gage. the 
  water will be one to two feet deep over portions of three rivers 
  lane...altamaha river road and ogle sandbar road.
* impact...at 13.0 feet...flood stage is reached. minor flooding 
  occurs in the woodlands along the river upstream and downstream 
  from the gage on the u.s. highway 221 bridge. the water reaches the
  top of the public boat ramp by the bridge. flood waters expand in 
  low lying areas in south montgomery county around 1.5 miles 
  upstream from the gage. the water will begin to cover portions of 
  three rivers lane...altamaha river road and ogle sandbar road.
* impact...at 11.0 feet...bankfull conditions occur along the river 
  upstream and downstream from the gage on the u.s. highway 221 
  bridge. some flooding begins in low lying areas around 1.5 miles

  thursday early afternoon. additional rises may be possible 
  thereafter.
* impact...at 100.0 feet...the boat ramp near the gauge and adjacent 
  parking lot are flooded.
* impact...at 92.0 feet...griner road in mayday begins to flood. this 
  isolates 10 homes in the area. flooding along the road subsides 2 
  to 3 days after the river crests in statenville or when the river 
  falls below 96 feet.
